Love Parks Week

Love Parks Week 2010 celebrates parks as free places for children to exercise with activities in parks around Swansea.

Get into your local park during Love Parks Week to celebrate all that parks have to offer.

Love Parks Week is an annual campaign, organised by parks charity Green Space, which aims to encourage everyone to use their local park more often and to raise the profile of parks as places to escape from the hustle and bustle of city life as well as to get fresh air and exercise.

Between July 24 and 1 August the City and County of Swansea is putting on a variety of exciting events to support this initiative and encourage more people to enjoy Swansea's parks, ranging from fun days in the park to children's activities and Skate Jams.
